That’s why the health and sustainability of our food banks matter. Because of the importance of food banks to our communities, we’ve supported over 100 food banks in the last year. UFA is committed to supporting food banks to help those in need with our various initiatives
Give from the Heart: Holiday Food Drive
Give from the heart and help feed those in your community that are in need. Food banks are facing an increasing need in Western Canada. From December 1-20, participating UFA locations are accepting non-perishable food items to donate to your local food bank. We’re asking you to help your neighbours by giving a gift that truly makes a difference this holiday season. Give a gift that isn’t wrapped in paper and a bow but in kindness and compassion.
Heart of the Harvest: Helping Local Food Banks
During Fall 2022, members harvested their crops in helping to feed the world and in turn, UFA asked that you help us to ensure that those in our communities are fed as well. Participants made a positive impact by donating to our Heart of the Harvest campaign when they shopped at their local Farm & Ranch Supply store or Petroleum agency. Plus, those donations went even further because UFA matched donations, up to a maximum of $5,000. UFA was proud to have collected a total of $14,706 in donations, plus an additional $1,500 Agent Anniversary Donation that all went towards local food banks.
