Customer Account Manager 1

Position Summary:

We are looking for an independent and relationship focused Customer Account Manager 1 (CAM1)! You are responsible for selling Agribusiness Farm and Ranch products to UFA customers. Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Service you will have the opportunity to build close relationships, gain an understanding of customer needs and communicate UFA product value. Working closely with the business you will create a positive sales and service experience for UFA customers, resulting in an increase of overall satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customers farm/ranch operations and needs.
  • Maintain customer and farm profile data to support their in-store sales and customer selling processes.
  • Develop and implement an Annual Customer Plan.
  • Promptly respond to customer issues and needs.
  • Develop, update, and communicate customer-based sales plans that meet individual sales and margin objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • College/University diploma or degree in Agriculture or a relevant business field.
  • Minimum 1 year of previous customer service experience. Previous sales experience in a retail environment, and or relevant field environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • A strong understanding of the agriculture market and business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Valid Class 5 license required.
  • This is a safety sensitive position as will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
